Bukechi

BUKECHI, pronounced boo-ker-chi, is Mandarin Chinese for "You're welcome". BUKECHI is also acoustic musical duo, Sammi & Skidders. Based in Royal Leamington Spa in the middle of England, Bukechi write and perform their own music.

Sammi - Joni Mitchell is a major influence - so much so, she named her daughter after her and her own Limited Company after one of Joni's albums! Like Skidders, she also loves KT Tunstall.

Skidders - Eric Clapton is Steve's (aka Skidders) hero - and they both support the same football team!

Both Sammi & Skidders have a broad overlap of musical tastes and their music is a unique fusion of acoustic, fold, pop, blues, jazz etc,

Bukechi are currently recording their debut album, "Welcome to Suburbia", comprising of self penned songs, plus a collaborative song between themselves and Beneva and a NaTasha cover "U Got Me". Gig details available on their website and Myspace
