Temptations Ruin



Temptation's Ruin are a band like no other, fusing ideas and sounds from a broad spectrum of influences. The band's sound has developed greatly in the short time we've been together. Combining 1980s era Metallica thrash riffs with the duelling guitar onslaught of Iron Maiden, and the pace and 'catchiness' of Bad Religion with the aggression of Pantera and Slayer. Our sound has evolved a hundred times over since we were just kids jamming along aimlessly to Metallica and C.O.C covers in our parents' garages. Right now we're reaching the point where we're comfortable with the sound of the music and confident of the direction we're heading.

With a penchant for all things epic and grandiose, the songs we have written give a middle finger to the notion of the three minute radio hit. The latest collection of songs we're currently writing and rehearsing, pior to going into the studio to record our first demo, all clock in at over five minutes long, with some pushing seven, eight, and nine minutes.

The band's line-up is guitarist James Mitchell, guitarist Alex Collins, drummer Andrew Hardie, and bassist Kieran Mitchell. Currently we are looking for a new vocalist.

In the year since then Ten Days have continued playing gigs and expanding their repertoire like there was no tomorrow. With another recording session on the horizon and a hectic schedule of gigs coming up, 2006 looks to be full of good things for Ten Days.
