The Crooks


The Crooks are currently riding the crest of a wave in their native hometown of Coventry,with their fast paced and energetic live performances earning rave reviews from all who see them. Described as ‘A powerful, melodic band merging dirty, driving guitar riffs with rolling Hammond organ and a splash of analogue synthesis, they create a dark electro infused sound”.

The Crooks have established themselves by playing to live audiences all over the country including London, Birmingham, Manchester, Leicester and Coventry. The band’s prestigious support slots included The Music, Robots in Disguise, The View, The Others, Northside, Bez (Happy Mondays) and Tom Hingley (Inspiral Carpets). A highlight of 2007 was the bands performance at the Godiva Festival, Coventry. Now the band are beginning to attract attention from the record industry.
