2006 has been an interesting year for the music scene and brought a great change to Vinni Valentino and many aspects of their music and attitudes towards the band's future. The band have made changes to their style from the old V.Valentino. Each member has their own personel influences that they incorporate into the music meaning that the music produced has such a wide stretch of different influences. V.Valentino take rock,funk,metal and experiment with their styles to give them an individual sound that can only be Vinni Valentino.

The band took the summer out from gigs and raised their creativity levels to write some very new material to be exactly how they wanted to be and bring all these influences together. Over the past year the band have gone from strength to strength and have had the pleasure of performing with some great bands and artists including "Elliot Minor", and "The Satin Dolls", an up and coming Coventry based band.

Vinni Valentino formed in October 2005 so have been together for just over a year. They are based in the Midlands, in the Coventry area. The band are all very passionate about their music , which links to the name, and they have been in previous bands before, but the structure was never as exciting as V.Valentino.

Their first gig was held in a small pub in Nuneaton, The Wheatsheaf and feedback was great, with friends of the band wearing home made T-shirts and people coming out to support which is what its all about.

V.Valentino then competed in Battle Of The Bands 2006. They performed a five song set list and came out 1st receiving very positive comments and even people in the audience singing the lyrics back to them. This obviously excited the band and gave them the motivation to carry on and arrange more gigs.
