Godiva Calling 2016

Applications are now open for local musicians to win a spot on the main stage at this years Godiva Festival, which is taking place 1st – 3rd July.

Lee Glasson – The Voice

Opening contestant on tonights edition of The Voice, based  in Coventry, Lee Glasson sucessfully got through the first selection stage to join Kylie’s team.

Godiva Unsigned 2013

Applications are open for local unsigned bands for a chance to play this years Godiva Festival.
Full details are available on the festival website www.godivafestival.com

Due to the popularity of the Kasbah, applications to play at this venue will close at midnight on Sunday May 5th. However, applications to all other venues will close at the later date of midnight Thursday May 23rd.

Welcome to the new look Covscene

Much of the existing content on this site has become outdated and in common with other sites the ‘traditional’ forum is virtually dead other than for spammers and the occasional old-timer popping up to see if there is any sign of life. The easy solution would be to just pull the plug on the site, however it does still feature relatively high in search listings, and whilst there are some complementary sites around there is nothing that really seems to be a replacement. In view of this, I have decided to try and give the site a new lease of life to serve the local music community. Continue reading
