As elegant as ever Carl. A PM was all that was required to amend the flier 
Fortunately, we have an excellent reserve this. Keep in mind that the opening slot is a good one to have because that's when the press photographers are always there.

No... a band from the reserve list will take the 2:30 slot. There's no 2pm slot.

Sorry, I should re-iterate. The Crimbo bash is purely voluntary on Covscene, there's no favourites, it's a "first in" basis, as it should be. First reserves were Shackletons and they are taking the opening slot. Yay!
It's random but I can say that I would be happier. Next reserve is Long Road Ghosts. Bands playing were the next to ask, on here or elsewhere, no favourites. Thoria are headlining because they asked in July. [dweeb] asked to play Covfest in August but it's already full since 9 months ago, so I said "how about....." The rest was open.
Any band that drops out will have their slot filled by the next reserve, slots won't be switched so you can happily promote this to all your friends.

Was a bit raw when posting this and arguably a bit rude but in all fairness if you book a band, listen to them and contact them through myspace etc to know the name of the band and get it right isn't a big deal is it? Sorry if it was rude but it's just as rude to mis promote a band by the wrong name, many venues have done it, I just see as either too lazy to type one more word or a bit ignorant, or both. |

You contacted me through PM on here and not myspaz m'dear and as I've never seen your band, I didn't know.. As I said, if there was a mistake on the flier, you just had to say and it would have been fixed.
I've just printed 102 dog posters...... sleep! I never want to see another poodle.

Just so everyone knows, this is a 14+ gig until midnight when the DJ takes over. Over 18s will have a wristband and U18s won't.

i am playing this gig regardless of time and attendance. i aint goin up the city that day. we aint above an early slot either as weve hardly been gigging around here lately. we have a new set and another new tune to add so this will work out nicely. plus i wouldnt wanna follow us so every other band are fucked.

There's been a slight change to the lineup. Shadowplay and Maraduke Hussy have switched slots due to work and other commitments.
