As a community radio station based in Hillfields, the transmission features the greatest in specialist music, local news, information and events.
We play the finest local, national and international music, including Hip Hop, Garage, R’n’B, D’n’B, House, Techno, Old Skool, Indie, Rock, Jazz, Country and much, much more! Our schedule includes foreign language shows, interviews, features, competitions and live events. We intend to provide a radio service for the whole community.
Our regular Open Mic sessions return to Thursday night – from 7pm till 9pm, while we introduce a brand new Acoustic session every Wednesday 6pm-7pm. We encourage all rappers, MCs, performers and musicians to bring down their lyrics, CDs, records and instruments to showcase their talent live across the airwaves.
Funding by the Coventry Partnership and BBC Children In Need helps to support the radio station and it hopes to apply for a full time licence later this summer.
